In the Eastern hemisphere of Ioybos lies a land ruined by war and chaos. Variendale, a large continent that is divided in two by the massive wall known only as "The Spine".

The Western part of the wall is controlled by The Guided Light, an organization full of the wicked and those who have broke their oaths to protect the realm. Stories of the West describe the continent as lifeless, baron and close to inhabitable, because of these stories, no one has dared tried to cross The Spine. 

 

Eastern Variendale is ruled by a king who aims to rebuild the entire continent, and reunite both sides of the Spine. Rumors have been reaching further East of a divergent group possibly in partnership with The Guided Light. King Adrieed has asked every city and town in the kingdom to provide any information to the kingsguard.
